METHODOLOGY & PROCESS

Gen AI:
I’ve tried countless Gen AI tools but I focus more on the underlying model capabilities  behind the tool. I combine lean design and strategy consulting strategies to identify processes, bottlenecks and the right approach for the current workflow to streamline and automate processes, while planning the change management process needed simultaneously. 

Consulting:
When it comes to consulting I prefer methodical approaches where making decision on the underlying bases of information is the most important for aligning a ground truth for the project. After that it is way easier to make clear and rational decisions that move companies in the right direction.

Specially during the time of misinformation it is important to make sure learners see the same reality to act upon first and propose decisions based on that common understanding of facts.  

Mentoring & Leadership: 
I’ve started mentoring people during my university days and had people reach out having me as their advisor doing their masters. I’ve continued that trajectory after finishing my studies becoming a lecturer at my old university and a mentor at my places of work. 

Over the years I have mentored 13 colleagues in UX, Consulting and Gen AI Most of them continuously over years, with them being anywhere from Junior to Senior levels. I am very happy having helped them climb the ranks of expertise and finding their own speculation. 

Mentoring Methodology:
Over time I’ve build up my set mentoring methods all focused in making mentoring as direct and specific to the individual mentee. I strongly believe that mentoring should be weekly, 1:1 and 100% focussed on the immediate needs of the mentee to be effective. My Methods aim to structure all topics I can provide and help mentees find their optimal path for learning.

Sessions are a mixture of me explaining topics in a discussion format, talking about their current struggles and working on their projects together. This provides an open space that is aimed to directly support.
